Signal Processing in a Networked Battlespace

Summary
The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) wish to support 2 (or possibly 3) research consortia grants through this call for proposals, to address challenges within the area of signal processing in a networked battlespace. This will take place under the strategic partnership that already exists between EPSRC and Dstl. Subject to the quality of the proposals received, funds of up to £8 million are available, which is expected to support 2 (or possibly 3) consortia for up to 5 years. The consortia will be expected to provide a balanced portfolio across the scope of this call. We will be looking for an interlinked suite of research work packages within each consortium to address a number of key themes in signal processing. The consortia supported through this call will be expected to work closely with Dstl staff over the course of the projects.
