The 2nd Sensor Signal Processing for Defence (SSPD) Conference will be held in London, United Kingdom on 27 - 29 September 2011 and is
organised by the
University Defence Research Centre (MOD-UDRC) in Signal Processing (MOD) - funded
by the U.K. Ministry of Defence (MOD). The purpose of the conference is to provide a public forum
for researchers from academia, defence, government and industry to present, exchange ideas and
discuss developments in multisensory signal processing.
Topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
Array Signal Processing
Radar, Sonar and Audio Signal Processing
Signal Processing for Security
Multimodal Signal Processing
Sensor Fusion
Image and Video Classification
Distributed Signal Processing for Wireless Sensor Networks
Signal Processing for Communications
All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings which will be indexed by Inspec database,
IEEE/IEE Xplore and EI Compendex.
An extended version of the best papers may be considered for publication in a special issue of the IET Signal
Processing Journal and the Imperial College Press Book Series in Communications & Signal Processing.
